- Once you have completed registration for yourself and your guests, we will take the information provided and book a room on your behalf. NewEdge Advisors is pleased to offer three nights stay complimentary for all producing advisors. Confirmation numbers will be emailed out prior to the conference. For any questions, cancellations, or changes to your stay, please email us at events@newedgeadvisors.com. Any cancellations or changes must be submitted by Wednesday, August 30th to be accommodated. Submissions after that date will only be made at the hotel’s discretion and you may be subject to a fee.
- Transportation:
Attendees and their guests are responsible for their own travel arrangements to/from the venue. There are several preferred transportation providers to help you safely get from the airport to/from the resort. We recommend scheduling your transportation prior to arrival. Please reach out to the providers directly to schedule. - Recommended transportation providers – Amstar, Maritur, and Tropical Incentives
- The nearest airport we recommend flying into is the Cancun International Airport (CUN). It is about 40 minutes away from the resort.
- Passports:
If you haven’t already, check your passport expiration date. You will need to start the renewal process as soon as possible if it is expired or will expire before the event. Please note the renewal process is slow and can take several months (10-13 weeks routinely). Learn more about the application and renewal processes here.

- Shipping:
For shipping, the recommended service is with Exhibitions Cargo. Please use the downloadable shipping invoice, instruction letter and service agreement below. Submit all completed paperwork by August 31st to Claudia at claudia@exhibitionscargo.com.
- She will provide you with an event code, shipping label, and additional information to help your packages clear customs. She will also be your primary shipping contact and can help answer any specific questions you may have. A full list of prohibited and hazardous materials can be found here. All shipments being sent through this service must arrive at the warehouse no later than September 6th. If you plan on ordering anything and having it shipped directly from the manufacturer, it must be included on that form.
- If you wish to use your own courier such as FedEx, the hotel recommends shipping direct to your representative and include NewEdge Advisors AdvisorFirst Conference as a reference. - Please note, if you plan on shipping to this address, the hotel does not have the appropriate Import License to assume responsibility for the imports of their guests. Your shipment would be at risk of getting stuck in customs and is not guaranteed to arrive at the venue in time for the event.

Registration
Where is the AdvisorFirst Conference being held?

What is included in my conference registration?
Access to all conference materials, sessions, and evening events.
What does it cost to register?
Nothing. Registration is free, but attendees are responsible for their own travel to and from the resort.
How do I register several attendees at the same time?
On the registration page, only one person can be registered at a time. Each registrant will need a unique email address.
Will there be a virtual option for the event or recordings shared afterwards?
This event is in-person only and will not be livestreamed or recorded. Conference presentation slides will be shared only with attendees after the event.
I am no longer able to attend, how do I cancel my hotel reservation and conference registration?
Email us at events@newedgeadvisors.com and we will handle your cancellations for you. If you notify us after August 30th, you will be subject to a cancellation fee.
Guests
Am I allowed to bring a guest?
Yes, you may register your guest at the time of your registration. There will be a field asking if you plan on bringing a guest and what their name is.
Will my guest be able to participate in any of the activities or special events?
Yes, one adult guest will be able to participate in special events and activities. When you register for the specialty events, there will be a field for you to register your guest also.
Is there an option for on-site childcare?
The resort offers the Kimbo Kids’ Club for younger guests. Activities include storytelling, arts and crafts, and exciting games. The Kids’ Club is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Please contact the resort directly to make arrangements.
Is the Kimbo Kids' Club free for resort guests?
No, for children who are 90 days – 4 years old, there is a $17 fee per hour plus tax. For children who are 4 – 12 years old, there is no fee.
What are the Kimbo Kids' Club hours?
The Kimbo Kids’ Club is open from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 2:00 – 5:00 PM for children who are 90 days – 4 years old. It is open from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM for children who are 4 – 12 years old.
Is there a babysitter referral service?
Yes, the service is available daily for 24 hours. Guests must book their service 6 hours in advance and there is a maximum of 2 children per nanny. The cost is $20 per hour, per child or $30 for two children. Services requested after 8:00 PM will have an additional $15 transportation fee.
Travel
Will I need my passport?
Yes. You and any guests you have traveling with you will need passports. Check to make sure that yours isn’t expired so you have time to renew if needed. More information about the passport application and renewal processes and timing can be found here.
Am I responsible for booking my own travel arrangements?
Yes. Attendees are responsible for booking their own travel arrangements to/from the event.
What are my options for traveling from the airport to the resort?
The recommended transportation companies are Amstar, Maritur, and Topical Incentives. Attendees are highly encouraged to book transportation to/from the venue prior to arrival using one of the recommended providers.
Which airport should I fly into?
The Cancun International Airport is the closest to the resort.
Will I be able to access my company email and VPN while there?
Check with your organization’s IT department and submit a ticket if needed.
Are there any recommended travel assistance services that I can purchase or take advantage of before the trip?

Am I responsible for booking my hotel room?
No. We will book your hotel room once you have completed registration and use the information you provide when registering. I am arriving early/staying extra days, how do I extend my stay?
As an attendee, you will be responsible for the cost of any additional nights stayed and additional nights are limited to hotel availability. You will identify your preferred check-in and check-out date when registering. If you have any changes to your stay, please email us at events@newedgeadvisors.com. Please notify us of those changes by August 30th, we won’t be able to accommodate any changes requested after that date.
